A DAY ON THE WATER...
spending a day on the water is like taking a week of vacation...at least
that’s how we’ve always felt about it! especially when all you have to do is relax, and perhaps take the helm
now and then. but we’ve found that for “us” to really enjoy Italy, we need to share “our Italy” with others so that the fun duplicates. Our dream takes shape every day that we leave port and sail off... with only
the sound of the water on the hull and the breeze as our clean fuel we have nature as our constant companion... and of course Aorangi makes it easy to enjoy it all with her stability and
grace. we are only there to do the cooking;-) and what better place than in the “heart” of the Mediterranean...Gaeta is both quaint and picturesque, and full of history as well...not to mention the incredible seafood and other fresh fare. a real enogastronomical delight! and to think that we’re only an hour from the hectic city of Rome. sometimes it’s hard to believe it’s all true... that this is really what
we do...

About us....Dreams really do come true! living in Tuscany is certainly that, but living on a boat too? it’s a sort of a surf and turf lifestyle to be sure! But being the fortunate skipper/ owner of Aorangi is something that you never
take for granted. While it is a full time job keeping things going; we are more than aware of the good fortune to be living a dream for a lot of people. Every time we set out it is for all off those who "sail off into the sunset"..in their dreams


Un giorno per mare...
"Stare un giorno per mare è come fare una settimana in vacanza....o almeno noi pensiamo così da sempre!...Specialmente se tutto quello che c’e’ da fare è solo rilassarsi, o al massimo prendere il timone e divertirsi per andature.
Abbiamo imparato che per godere dal vero la nostra vita per i mari “Italiani” dobbiamo condividerli stimolando gioia e serenità a chi ci segue...solo così saremo riusciti ad aver fatto vedere l’Italia da un punto di vista diverso....l’Italia nostra, l'Italia marina...

Per noi il sogno prende forma ogni giorno che usciamo dal porto per mettere su le vele...con solo il fruscio dell'acqua sulla carena. La brezza è la nostra “benzina” ....e su Aorangi è facile godere tutto ciò…grazia e stabilità, così’ veleggiare diventa una gioia….

BIO - Quando i sogni si avverano!
Vivere in Toscana è certemente un sogno, ma vivere in barca anche? Essere l’armatrice e skipper di Aorangi non e’ mai una cosa da prendere sul leggero. Anche se e’ un lavoro a tempo pieno per tenerlo in forma, sappiamo che stiamo vivendo un sogno per tanta gente.

Ogni volta che salpiamo lo stiamo facendo per tutti coloro che
.... “partono verso il tramonto” nei loro sogni...
