Osteria la Loggetta: new winter menu

Osteria la Loggetta in Paciano

Trascorrere un fine settimana a Paciano senza provare i 3 ottimi ristoranti del Paese, è un vero peccato, ecco di seguito una breve recenzione della Loggeta per iniziare...e naturalmente il loro menu, qui a disposizione per voi....
Pane fatto in casa, salumi di zona, pasta, dolci, Tozzetti, tutto fatto a mano nella piccola cucina del ristorante gestito da una splendida coppia che cura con passione ogni particolare.
Alla Loggetta il menù varia con le stagioni e potrete assaggiare ravioli di ricotta, formaggi e pinoli con pomodorini e julienne di zucchine o tortelli di carote e pecorino in crema di salsiccia al timo. Troverete anche petto d’anatra alle spezie con aceto balsamico, maialino al forno ( “porchetta da latte “), fagiolina del Trasimeno, lumache coltivate nel territorio e molti piatti vegetariani.
Per tutte le preparazioni utilizzano solo farine biologiche ed olio extravergine d’oliva rispettando anche nei tempi la cucina di una volta, senza fretta e con un pizzico di pazienza in più.

In english:

Bread, pasta and cakes - especially our gorgeous tozzetti (almond biscuits) - are made with organic flours by ourself in our small kitchen.
In our rstaurant you can taste homemade ravioli pasta filled with ricotta cheese, buffala mozzarella and pine-kernels with fresh tomatoes and julienne of courgettes: homemade tortelli pasta filled with carrotts and pecorino cheese in organic sausages creamy sauce with thyme. You can also find spiced breast duck with vintage balsamic vinegar sauce, young tender pork oven roasted, fagiolina of Trasimeno place (close to a brown been
really proteinic), snails grown in the local area and many vegetarian dishes.
For all food preparation we use only organic flours and extra virgin olive oil observing the kitchen of old days without any hurry but with a little bit more patience.

The tavern La Loggetta offers its customers the choice to enjoy a meal in two different places. The restaurant is built inside an ancient tower, at the first floor are located the kitchen, the bar and the panoramic terrace where you can relax in the summer time looking at the surrounding hills and the trasimeno Lake. At the first floor there are two small welcoming rooms with the fireplace and the balcony “la loggetta” where you can enjoy unforgettable sunset and romantic dinner.

The Terrace
Here you can enjoy your breakfast with our homemade cakes or if you preffer have a quick lunch with fresh dishes as carpacci, fantasy salads, selection of cheeses or with the fabulous torta al testo (typical umbrian flat bread stone backed) filled with regional salami and sometimes you can enjoy some light and quick pasta really gorgeous. In the afternoon you can come for a cup of tea or a snack with cooling drinks listening the graceful singing of the cicadas. La Loggetta is also a place for aperitif with delicious apetizer and when the time has come seating in front of the sunset you can enjoy a lovely dinner drinking a nice wine. Our wine vault has remarkable umbrian and tuscany wines with a peculiar attention to the small local winw grower.

The rooms
When the winter comes along we move inside where you can warm yourself by the fireplace and enjoy delicious dinner listening soft music and the crackling of fire. The menu’ a’ la carte changes periodically depending on the seasonal products (you can find it on our web site always updated) and presents local food and dishes created by the fantasy and the experience of our chef.
